Released by one of the the biggest ballers around, Jay-Z. No doubt this is what Beyonce will be sip, sip, sippin on, come NYE. A 15 liter bottle with Jay Z’s signature sold for $100k last year, a regular bottle will set you back around $1000.
Krug – Clos Du Mesnil 1995
This Blanc de Blanc bottle of Krug is made entirely from chardonnay grape and is their flagship single vineyard vintage. This one should be good for another 13 years, if you want to save it till you’re partying like its 2024. This will set you back around $750.
Perrier Jouet – Belle Epoque Cuvee Rose 2002
Coming in an art noveau style bottle with beautiful white and gold roses, designed by the highly respected glass artist Emily Galle in 1902 this is an affordable but still classy bottle to take to the in-laws at $275.
Cristal – Brut 1990 Methuselah
Founded in the same year as the US of A, this champagne has hardly varied from the original, top notch since day one. Coming in a crystal clear bottle (hence the name) was the first to break away from the dark bottle. 6 litres with a gold label is $17,625.

Founded in 1975, the Veuve was the first house to ship rose champagnes. Known the world over, you cant go wrong for any occasion, the yellow label brut starting from $70.
Shipwrecked – 1907 Heidsieck
These 100 year old bottles of Champagne from the Heidsieck vineyard in Champagne are aptly named shipwrecked, divers discovered them in 1997 after leaving port bound for the Russian imperial family in 1916. Bottles starting at $275,000 a pop.

One of the most iconic champagnes around, you can still look alright and not send yourself broke bringing a bottle to any celebration for $60.

A high proportion of pinot noir grapes gives it the full bodied toasty character that Bollinger is known for, starts at $75 a bottle.
