It doesn’t matter whether you are a fan of the Ivy or not - you have to take your hat off to the Hemmes family and their stable of great Sydney restaurants, which provide a range of experiences to suit any occasion.

Fine dining at its best. The grandeur of the room with its white pillars, chandeliers, and marble finishings combined with a flawless degustation menu makes Est. the ultimate special occasion restaurant.


Miss G’s

Head chef Dan Hong getting back to his roots, doing the best in modern Asian food, with a great bar too. Share that food and slurp those slushies.


Lotus

The new menu at Lotus features one of Sydney’s best burgers. They also have a rather good cocktail bar that is ideal to meet people but not so ideal to leave (as in, you won’t want to).


Mad Cow

Within the supacenta of the Ivy, this steakhouse can sometimes get overthought - it shouldn’t. If you’re in the city and you want a piece of meat done well you should be here. Nice tail too. (not talking about the cows)


Felix

Felix is pure French bistro. Moules, frites (handcut), a rotisserie, and French wicker chairs to match. Bonjour.


Sailors Thai

Yet another within the Ivy complex, David Thompson, one of Sydney’s (and the world’s) most respected purveyors of Thai cuisine does what he does best. This is what Thai people wish they could eat. Incredible Thai food, honestly. Also at The Rocks and Potts Point.


Sushi e

It may be pricier than your average sushi roll, but you pay for the experience. You can’t get much closer to the action with the food being prepared right in front of your eyes and a great cocktail bar on the other side of the room for after dinner drinks in a fine Establishment.
