NEW YEAR’S EVE AT SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE 11/12

Frankie Knuckles is the undoubted Godfather of house, he started  DJ’ing around NYC and Chicago in the mid 70′s playing soul and disco with Larry Levan at the Continental Baths until he opened The Warehouse in Chicago in 1977 (the year Dangerous Dan was born) it is around this time that he started partnering with a little guy with big lungs and the sweetest voice named Jamie Principal together they made some of the most seminal house records ever made including “your love” and “baby wants to ride”.

A lot of parties and a lot of dancing went down for the both of them between then and now, way too much to talk about.

It wasn’t until this year until he teamed up with Jamie to re do “your love”, which by the way the original was recently declared by Mixmag the greatest house track ever made.

They played together at the M.O.S birthday this year and literally destroyed the place.

We heard this and we needed it for ourseleves, we got it…

We also got this.

Never ending YOLO cocktails inspired by Terzini’s classics and delivered by Mark Ward of Yakusan, Magnums of Moet at Midnight and a the Belvedere “top shelf” bar sitting above the whole party giving the ultimate view of whats going on.
