It’s hard to believe it has been 10 years since Maurice Terzini from Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, and Black Angus from Sneaky Sound System thought it might be a good idea to join forces and throw a little New Years Day party down in Bondi for a few hundred friends. Throw Austrian crooner Louie Austen into the mix and well, wow… It was a party no one will ever forget.
The numbers have swelled, the international musical guests never disappointed, the list of celebrity sitings is always over the top, and although there have been a few personnel changes along the way one thing is guaranteed… Every year is better than the last, it has been a constant evolution – and this year is no exception.
Why is it so good? There are the obvious reasons: The best music, the best view, the best drinks, the best service, the best people and the best atmosphere; but there is also this magic, a little bit of fairy dust that can never be explained unless you are there, and when you are there, you wish you were nowhere else in the entire world.
