Vegan, macrobiotic fare right by the beach. This isn’t the most creative or gourmet vegetarian place around, but the food is fresh, tasty and wholesome. The burgers is what these guys do best, try a blackened tempeh burger with mango salsa.

A wholesome vegetarian cafe inside the Golden Bridge Yoga center. Great smoothie list, with delicious homemade soups and sandwiches. The perfect spot to grab a healthy meal after class, if you’re on the run, or even when you haven’t done any yoga at all.

Both avid believers in eating raw, Matt and Janjabai Amsden started Euphoria loves Rawvolution with the intention to create a world of conscious eaters. Head chef Matt’s mind-blowing creations are 100% raw, vegan and sustainable, with all produce bought from local farmers. Whether you are a totally raw eater or not at all, you will love this place.

A vegan, mostly organic cafe with a strong Thai influence (with burritos and other Mexican choices too, because this is LA). Generous, inexpensive portions, with loads of faux meat, if that is your thing.

Another vegan, mostly organic Thai influenced vegan cafe. As well as the many Asian dishes, you’ll find a wide selection of burgers, wraps, and a few irregular vegan options; chicken nuggets, pepper steak, crispy chicken, teddy shrimp batter, and fish and chips. All faux meats are homemade, so you don’t need to worry about too much processed nastiness.

Ok, ONE more vegan Thai joint. The food is consistently great, and inexpensive, so you can frequent it as often as you like. All the Thai favourites; curries, satay, papaya salad, tom yum soup, with a chef’s selection of entrees, plus noodles. And burgers, of course.
