Monterosso al Mare, Liguria (North-Western Italy)
Monterosso al Mare has the longest history of Italian places to sunbathe, the village has the most beautiful beaches of the Cinque Terre Coastal area. If you want a traditional beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas, Monterosso is the ideal destination. The water is a clean and beautiful blue, there are wonderful beaches and cliffs overlooking the sea in an ancient crystal.
Piscinas, Sardinia Island (South Italy) OUR FAVOURITE!
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage due to its astonishing sites, Piscinas is recognized for its attractive dunes of sand. The landscape is additionally surreal, while the unique dunes make the beach so spectacular. The relaxing surroundings and the sound of the sea are amazing, especially because it has a private vibe appealing to visitors.
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna (North-Eastern Italy) OUR CITY!
Federico Fellini‘s home town. With wide strips of sand stretching along the Adriatic coast and an impressive number of Roman ruins and medieval churches, Rimini is an authentic tourist hot-spot. Let us just mention that almost every European town would give anything in exchange for Rimini’s clubs and restaurants: the capital of Italo Disco and Italian nightlife.
San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily Island (South Italy)
This place is located along the Western coast of Sicily across Trapani. This is one of the best beaches in Italy where you can find scenic beauty along the coast and enjoy some surf. Also there are many houses lined along the beach coast where fishermen catch tuna. Besides, this spot is also known for its National Park Reserve – the Zingaro where one can catch a glimpse of the pristine beaches of this region.
Vieste, Puglia (South Italy)
If you are looking for great beaches with a wonderful rich underwater life a truly natural selection for your beach destination is Vieste, located on the Gargano Promontory. With its beautiful blue and deep water and surprisingly hidden coves, it’s just the place to relax. The beach is white and the surrounding mountains filled with olive trees and orchids. The smell is simply incredible.
